OK Setanta are getting all the biggest stuff.

Here's what Sky have lined up. I'm looking forward to seeing BARKER and OLUSEGUN in action again.

Ajose Olusegun v Nigel Wright February 22

British Welterweight Title
Kevin McIntyre v Kevin Anderson

I presume Sky will be getting the excellent FROCH-INKIN fight. Reckon things will look a bit more rosy if Haye comes back provided he smashes Macca, and hopefully WITTER-D HOPKINS if it happens gets picked up by Sky. With Thaxton probably going to fight Khan soon(ish), that would leave MURRAY-FEWKES to contest the English title and become British mandatory.


It's obvious, Setanta are like the HBO to Sky's Showtime. They throw around more money and obviously like to build stars in the FW stable. Sky then need to show an absolute committment to quality boxing. Imaginative matchups. Only give ppl TV dates if the fight is acceptable.

I was going to cancel my SKY subscription - but will wait until after these fights.

I read somewhere they're showing the Williams-Quintana fight on a week's delay. That will be the first US fight on Sky for some time. Live or Sunday morning delay would be preferable, of course, but it's better than nothing.

That would be something, however little! The more fights the merrier.

I think thats pretty poor actually - seems like the non international coverage wasn't just rumour.
