Does anyone have any information, articles, pictures, videos, anything at all about Fred Jackson? Or know of anyone who might?
He was a light-heavyweight of Custom House with a career from 1951 - 1958. He fought against George Walker on 26th October 1953, and after his boxing career owned many pubs including the Lord Raglan in Plaistow and the Flying Horse in Ipswich. More information can be found about him here: http://www.boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?hu ... &cat=boxer
I am a very close relative of his and am trying to find as much information about him as possible, with the notion of making a documentary about his career. Please, please if you have any information, it would be very much appreciated!
Thanks.
