I always remember reading it at the time and always wanted to know.

The basics were some of our esteemed GB boxing squad at the Barcelona olympics in 1992 got into a punch up with the Iraqi wrestling team - regarding the war that was fought the year before hazarding a guess.

Remembering from the top of my head Paul Lawson, Peter Richardson, Paul Ingle and I think Chris Bessey (I could be wrong though on this one and if so, apologies ) were amongst our chaps in the melee.

I don't know about anyone here - would you want to get involved in a scrap with a olympic standard wrestler - even if you had the special powers of being an ABA champ?

Does anyone know how it all kicked off and what was the upshot of it all?

In fairness in my experiance group brawls hardly ever have a real actual winner cos no one does enough damage to one person without having to look out for there friends taking a pasting somewhere else.
