The ABA registration form doesn't appear to ask for any ID or birth certificate.

Whats to stop a guy who needs to add on / shave off a few years doing so? Are birth certificates ever required in amateur boxing?

My medical was piss poor to be honest, took my weight and height, made me cough and I think that was that, apart from the normal medical history questions.

Can't remember giving any form of id.

They are (or were) not required in my day, but your GP's details were.

Foe my medical I took a milk bottle of piss up to a doctor on the Old Kent Road, and handed it (not in a bag) to the receptionist. I was only 13.

I had about three pisses and filled the bottle to the brim. Then took it up there on the bus from Victoria.

Happy days.

medical took 5 mins, no form of id and that is valid for five years. recon my trainers mate was a doctor.

Gotta take my medical soon hopefully.

IABA and Ulster board require a copy of your birth certificate, with your application forms, as well as your DOB being on your medical forms.
