Hmmm it was a good performance and a solid enough win, plus he got the 12 rounds. You're being a bit pessimistic maybe.

Khan has only been pro since 05, at this point Diaz would probably stop him late, but give Khan time, he's still a growing lad.

Compare Diaz's record with Amir's after 15 fights each, it's a no contest.

Khan will never beat Juan Diaz, I am sure of that. I think he can do well at the weight but a world title fight later this year is rushing him IMO. He needs fights against solid competition - natural Lightweights for a start.

Let's not forget too that Juan Diaz is a future P4P star!

He is getting better - but 2 more years and REAL live tests, we will see.

He just boxes basics fast and keeps a high guard at times and tight when thrown back at.

He isn't a great boxer. He's a good athlete with excellent speed and above average boxing skills.

Exactly, Khan wants to be world champion before the end of this year. He's hasn't fought a decent genuine lightweight with some power yet.

If he was on track for a world title he should have fought someone like st Clair at least 5 fights ago. I can't see Khan being a world champ this year. FW wont want to risk Khan against Kastidaz yet.

Above average I doubt, he's too good for the domestics though.

Juan Diaz isn't that special? He's 24, been a world champ for 3 and a half years, unified 2 titles and made 7 world title defences. Widely acknowledged as the top man at his weight. That's pretty good going by anyones standards.

look on the bright side at least he got the rounds in against a decent opponent.

If anybody watches Corrales vs. St. Clair then you'll see that St. Clair had Corrales' neck snapping from side-to-side in some points of their fight. Even the Harris fight he had him shaken in some of the later rounds, so the fact that Khan's legs didn't even remotely wobble during the whole of this bout should give him some credit at least, or are we all too pessimistic?

It was a cracking performance.

That was the best I`ve seen Khan.

The match making was perfect .. a smaller weight, non-punching, durable well known opponent.

St.Clair - for me anyway- didn`t exactly do much did he?
Maybe that was to do with Khan? .. who can say?

One thing is certain, Khan is still open to right handers ... he`s still fighting non-punchers, and he`s still fighting s-featherweights .. oh yeh ..and he still says "you know" after every other word

Looks like he`s looking past Thaxton also

I think a couple of years is about right, I don't see what the rush is. He's not going to beat that record so why not take their time.

Katsidis would be taking terrible punishment before landing a punch. His defence Is non existent, Earl was landing hooks alot on Katsidis.

Khan LOOKS GOOD, but he is NOT!

Someone who will REALLY pressure and throw punches will finish him.

Not the same GSC that fought Khan.

Yeah you're right, but was still an almost shut out victory for Harris.

Yeah that would be the St Clair of 8 years ago!

No vaild point at all. The guy was there only to be used as a punching bag, throwing the odd shot. The performance was OK from Khan against a guy fighting above his natural weight, a late stand in, and someone having fought only last month!
