You DO know that Ibeabuchi would be the Undisputed Heavyweight Champ if he hadn't gotten locked up right?
Salvador Sanchez is one of the most obvious one's for this, even though his career was cut very short he accomplished a helluva lot before he died.

Poncho Villa. He really did a lot but imagine what he could have done had he not died at 25. He could have been up their with SRR.

New Zealand lightweight Dion Murphy. He retired undefeated undefeated, (17-0, 9 KOs) one of his wins was over Johnny Famechon, who went on to be World Featherweight Champion.

Yeah, I find it funny that he like Sanchez could've amounted to one of the best fighters ever P4P yet both died so young. It's just strange how that happens sometimes.

Dave Sands, Commonwealth middleweight champion, 110 fights, 97 wins (63 kos) 10 losses, 1 draw, 2 no contests (one against a fighter he had beaten in his previous fight, one where the referee stopped the fight because he thought the other fighter was overmatched) beat Bobo Olsen twice, killed in a motor accident at 26 years of age.

He never would have beaten Lewis. He had wars with Tua who Lewis beat easily.

I was being sarcastic, but style-wise I think he could've had a chance with Lewis had he kept up his continued improvement. By the time Tua got to Lewis he became more of a plodding headhunter as he got fat and his reflexes slowed. Ibeabuchi in the late 90's would've at very least had a puncher's chance and I think they could've easily wound up in a trilogy. Whereas Ike went nuts and went to prison, Tua got fat and lazy. Tuaman was one of those fighters that seemed destined to burn out quick because his style like Tyson's depended largely on his speed and ability to get inside the reach of much larger fighters, and so a master boxer like Lewis who had as much height and reach as he was a stylistic nightmare for him.
