No, he was stiff as a board. He was around the same time as Kevin McBride and they reminded me of each other. Essentially slow and ponderous beating up overmatched fighters.

It's going back a bit, but I recall him struggling with the hype from his name - I don't recall him being anything special, which wouldn't of helped.

If I remember correctly - when he packed it in he was refreshingly honest and said he couldn`t cope with the pre-fight nerves.

Nothing wrong with that.

He looked no better or no worse than any other novice pro adapting to the game .. though If your hearts not in it - the ring can be a very lonely place.

If he was based in the states he could have made a decent coin, as poor as he was. Chazz Witherspoon is now fighting on PPV bills and getting a fair amount of exposure - and he is not much better than Bugner Jnr was.
