Let Ricky have a fight then they can fight in October - Witter can have a tune up!Riddick Blowe wrote:FOR F*CKS SAKE. i was so looking forward to this one. I really hate this sport sometimes. perfect, now witter has missed ANOTHER chance and won't ever get a big fight again, i bet.
Thy are ALL running scared!
They should drop Hopkins from the Rankings AND ANY FIGHTER who turns down a World Title Fight. Shameful!Phenomenal-Nutrition wrote:He should ideally call Ngoudjo or Urango. Hard fights but statement fights and Junior may look good against them. If he wins more emphatically than Hatton/Malignaggi it puts his name up there
Zabs fighting Mosley and no one wants Zab-Witter 2 anyway. Plus you cant get a top level guy on 6 weeks notice. Urango and Ngoudjo are in no mans land so thats a possibility. Both are known in the US tooDG. wrote:They should drop Hopkins from the Rankings AND ANY FIGHTER who turns down a World Title Fight. Call out Zab at Catchweight if need be?
I would watch Witter Vs Zab 2!Phenomenal-Nutrition wrote:Zabs fighting Mosley and no one wants Zab-Witter 2 anyway.DG. wrote:They should drop Hopkins from the Rankings AND ANY FIGHTER who turns down a World Title Fight. BTW Hatton withdrew from a couple of world title fights himself
On 7 Days notice, lets see Hatton/Mayweather/Williams fight Cotto on 7 days notice, no didnt think so. Witter should have taken that fight though because Cotto was drained and would have got sparkedTerry D wrote:That is a bit harsh, Junior turned one with Cotto down and it would have been extreme to drop his WBC ranking based on thatDG. wrote:They should drop Hopkins from the Rankings AND ANY FIGHTER who turns down a World Title Fight. I mean IF THEY AGREE then back out later OR if they terms are right - timeframe etc!Terry D wrote:That is a bit harsh, Junior turned one with Cotto down and it would have been extreme to drop his WBC ranking based on thatDG. wrote:They should drop Hopkins from the Rankings AND ANY FIGHTER who turns down a World Title Fight. Look at how Torres did on the night, Witter must have been kicking himself. I can see his reasoning though.
Don't think it was a mandatory. I think Castillo and Timothy Bradley are meeting to decide the mandatory position.jameswilson wrote:Gutting news.
As that was due to be a Mandatory defence tho (it was wasnt it?) wont the WBC decide on a new Mandatory?
Was it Torres and not Corley?Terry D wrote: Don't come crying to me when backsliding gives you carpet burns on yer arse!![]()
