The reporter sounded extremely inexperienced and very nervous. Probably not the best person to put in front of Bernard Hopkins.

I really love Hopkins. He's such good value, and looks like he knows when to intimidate when he wants.
He's still going to get his ass whooped when he fights Joe. The best he can hope for is to make Joe look bad by messing the Welshman around. But these days he doesn't hit hard enough, throw enough punches or move laterally fast enough to best Calzaghe.
Now, the Hopkins who fought Trinidad: that would have been a feast.

Classic.
The double look he gives the interviewer in the last second is priceless.

The interviewer gets hit in the head for a living?
Surely you don't think that out of the two of them, it was B-Hop that was the dumb arse? That interviewer needs to be dragged out the back and shot!

That was funny!
B-Hop can certainly be intimidating sometimes. The interviewer didn't know what to do really!
Even though Joe will probabaly win the fight, I'm certainly a big admirer of Hopkins. The way he's come through in life, from a nobody in prison to become a boxing superstar is nothing short of admirable.

Hop shouldn't of compared himself to Ali Vs Cooper unless he was saying Calzaghe was going to be Ali, the reporter said the right thing.

Nonsense. The guy inferred that Hopkins was going to cheat, he took the piss.
Hopkins should of expected someone say that though when comparing a fight to Ali Vs Cooper.
Hops does foul though like against Tinky Winky.

If Hop can compare this to Ali Vs Cooper than why can't the reporter bring up the glove Issue? Yeah, he can mention the Irony I guess of Ali being young while Hops Isn't.
Yep, too many see Ali as a legend so much, they won't accept certain criticisms.

My problem wasn't the content of the interview, more the style. The interviewer was like a 14 year old with a video camera, trying to be a cocky smart arse.

Who gives a monkey's toss wether the interviewer is 14 schoolgirl or a 30 year old man with a geniunely squeeky voice, wether he's a natural comedian or just a wannabee wide-ass....... he riled B-HOP pretty good and i found the whole thing pretty damn funny.
Hopkins should lighten up, he seems a bit of a hot head to me. Talkin of intelligence levels, if he had a higher IQ i'm sure he would have dealt with those questions with a tad more sophistication than he showed us on this film!

Jeej - I agree. The interviewer was a cocky b@stard taking the piss. He's lucky he didn't get a good slap. If that's the way he goes about things he won't have a long career - he sounds like the Patrick Kielty of sports reporting.

Found that hilarious. The man asking the questions....is he still standing???

The reporter is an idiot for making such a remark. Not funny, not witty and of no value whatsoever. B-Hops reply didnt show him to be an intelligent man either.
