Anyone of you guys interested in this? (assuming you've heard about it)

Underbelly is a 13 part miniseries on the Melbourne underworld wars that went from about 1998 to 2004. Dozens were murdered and towards the end of it people were being killed in pizza restaurants and at suburban footy ovals in front of dozens of kids at football clinics. The killings were mostly related to control of the incredibly lucrative party drug industry (plus people's egos going mad) and some of the players thought they were untouchable. Which for a while, they were

The series is due to premiere on Wednesday night here in Melbourne although whether it gets to our tv screens or not is still before the courts. This reminds me of Blue Murder a decade ago, about the Sydney underworld wars

Are you guys in other states due to get the series?

Blue Murder was a great series. I've taken some interest in the Carlton crew v Morans v Williams for awhile now. Looking forward to this take on it.

Pretty much what I'm thinking, except I'm out on Wednesday night so I'll probably miss it and then not bother after that...

I can't believe there were stories on this being too graphic, you see worse on the six o'clock news...

That aside, it was a decent story, produced fairly well...

They showed it in a pub in south melbourne, they tapped into a WA feed, and now they are talking about charging the pub with contempt of court. How are they going to charge a pub? Its too big for the witness stand.

The publican is just the right size for the dock. From all reports hardly anybody watched it anyway.
