Like Mr Warren broke up the cartel of Lawless, Duff and Astaire who do you think will knock him off the top or take over when he retires as I feel the only way he will get out of the game is when he has had enough!!

As he firmly believes he has no competition from the bunch half wits out there at the moment, although Fight Academy can only be called quater wits and Dennis Hobsons hair transplant complete with holes in his head is better than the job he has done with Clinton Woods.

I don't think there is anyone out there that can topple him or even take over from him. Boxing promoting seems alot of hard work for potential little reward.

Totally agree. Warren is 'the Don' in this country, and likely to remain so for as long as he wishes to.

I think Frank loves the game, it's clear he is personally and emotionally attached to his fighters, and although he's a hard nosed businessman, I think he really does have a big hard on for boxing.

Base purely on the undercards he puts on, MICKEY MOUSE is a worthy successor.

Hennessy could be with Froch like Hearn was with Eubank. Who knows. We'll see. Froch just has to do the business in the ring and cut good interviews, and have Ronnie O'Sullivan at his fights.

Warren wasn't really anybody until he got shot, although he was looking hot in the first half of '88 with McGuigan, Benn, Stretch and the Collins brothers (George and Tony). And he wasn't really anybody after he got shot until Benn bailed him out in late '93, causing Bruno and Hamed to follow suit...


I thought Ambrose Mendy was going to be the British Don King. He was for a while.

If Froch was 22-23 I could understand, but he's the wrong side of 30, and doesn't possess anywhere near the kind of charisma of say a Eubank/Benn.

Hennessey should have made a better job of trying to get Khan on his books if he wanted to be a true threat to warren.
