hey buster, I'm moving this over to the aussie forum where you stand a better chance of getting the answer your looking for.

It doesn't look like it mate. As Brute mentioned in another thread, even the main event starts pretty early (local time) and there isn't a great deal of (if any) interest from the general public so it's unlikely anyone will pick up the license to show it...

To be honest I'm not too familiar with setanta but I do know that they show some boxing. We (Australia) got the setanta feed for the Calzaghe - Kessler fight and Anton also reported that they have the rights to the Calzaghe - Hopkins fight...

Setantsa have the rights to Calzaghe v Hopkins and Maccarenelli v Haye to be shown in Oz. I am not sure about this heavywight card though.....highly unlikely.

The Sunday (Australian time) PPV on Main Event is Taylor v. Pavlik. Uncle Rupert would not show two PPVs on the one day.

No surprise: Kali Meehan defeated Jeremy Bates by 3rd round TKO today.

Sounds like the main event was not up to much. Valuev easily in a unanimous decision. 120-108, 120-108, 120-107. Reports that Liakovich (or something) was overweight and out of puff early.

Here's another question about the ratings. Lyakhovich comes back from nearly two years inactivity, overweight and short of wind, loses his twelve round fight by twelve rounds and goes straight into the Boxrec ratings at number seventeen!
Does this make sense to anybody?
