I noticed that Abdul Mougharbel has beaten Ross Burkinshaw- is that the first "upset" of the year on a British card? By upset, I mean a fight where the favourite/left hand collumn fighter hasn't won?

Burkinshaw was withdrawn because of a dislocated shoulder.

I thought that the RSF would create a bit of confusion when I sent the result in last night. However, let me explain; after Ross went back to his corner to have his mouth piece replaced (and get the injury assessed) the ref did wave the fight off as he could not continue, therefore RSF.
read my report on BBN and all will become clear!

regardless of whether its an injury or a cut, its still a RSF and a stoppage victory for the uninjured fighter.

For sure- but it is slightly different from the favourite actually being stopped due to the skill of his opponent.
IE he won due to an accident.
