I've been e mailed a long poster thingie about transport to and from their fight on march 8th- here is the gyst, hope you find it useful:

1. Tubes- none until after 7am.

2. Parking 4200 spaces, you have to prebook with cunticketmaster, its about £22 with their booking fee.

3. Boat- Express Thames service from the O2 pier to Waterloo via Canaray Wharf and Tower pier. Its £6, 30 mins and you have to pre book.

4. There is a load of national express coaches leaving at 4am , you can book online at national express dot com.

5. You can book with http://www.dot2.com for a shuttle bus service

6. There is a London Shuttle bus service, it is £6 and you have to pre book. It goes to Trafalgar Square/Charing cross

7. Bus- three 24 hour night bus services- routes 108, 188 and 472

8. Taxi- prepare to be fleeced.

9. Your fornicating feet.

10. Bars and restaurants will stay open during the night at the O2- this is a good idea.

The National exprerss service is a specific to-and-from service, they get to the arena about 9ish, assuming no traffic issues. Its about £40, thats an average (Manchester).

I guess not a bad idea, but for me missing some of the undercard is an annoyance, and also coaches can be a bit crappy.

The boat service appears to be a to the arena but nothing going back.

With regard to parking, there's also parking in Greenwhich, which is a darn sight cheaper.

I'm not sure I can see 4,200 vehicles attending TBH. We took a risk with Khan v Limond and paid a fiver.

The boat does run until 4.30am after some events, and is handy for central London where there are more night buses.

It wouldnt be the pure availability of spaces that would worry me here,more the problems of getting away in from the car parks as log jams are created by the number of people leaving all at once.

I had nightmares getting away from that place at 10.30 at night following an event which had a tube service - I dont envy those who are going and want to be away quickly after the event.

Still, at least the yanks can watch it prime time..

I'm not looking forward to it either mate. But Dirk is driving so fck him. I'm taking a sleeping bag so I can kip in the back.

The "official" line is that its Pre-book only. That said, I'm sure that if you did turn up the worst that would happen is that it would be £20.

I was originally going to drive, but in the end opted for a hotel within walking distance- I think I've done OK. My only concern is walking back at 3am! I might hang around in the arena until "sun up."

If there are traffic issues, then they are going to affect all the buses, coaches, taxis etc too.

you need to be carfull parking around hear it's all changed now and you need permits to park everywhere

Just the actual, proper cost of taxi travel, especially at that time, can be stupidly pricey in my opinion. I'm on my own, so its more of an issue. Taxs are OK if you split the fare with friends.

Harrier Way mate... its just opposite Asda and Beckton DLR... no lines

Has anyone got any idea what time the Mitchell / Johanneson fight might be on? Wondering if it might be at a decent hour, or will it kick off the early hours show, which is at....what 1am??

I doubt its on the American show, so technically could be anytime. As usual, it will probably depend on the speed of other undercard fights. That said, its unlikely it will be put on before the main body of the undercard. Also, it will probably be after the Smith fight.

Something like 11.30pm probably would be a good guess.
