MICHAEL GOMEZ – Contrary to a report on BBN , Mike is fit and ready to travel to Aberdeen and indeed will do on the 29th March albeit now only for a 6 round contest and not a WBU challenge that he was preparing for. Due to bout of flue , Lee McAllister cannot make the 9stone 9lb limit and will now be boxing at a higher weight ,we have been assured that the fight will happen on the next show and subject to everything being OK will be there again.

MARK THOMPSON
– Will next box on the 26th April at the George Carnell centre in Manchester, where he will top the bill for a master title. The VIP show will be supported by Alex Matvienko , John Kay’s , Brian Rose plus 4 other new VIP signings who will all be making there debuts – more news next week.

TONY QUIGLEY – Is off the Everton park bill on Sunday the 16th March with a cut eye after being attacked by a group of men last weekend in Birmingham supporting his younger brother at an amateur show. Joe McNally has stepped in on the show which is starting to sell well - tickets are available at the venue or from any of the competing boxers.

RICK GODDINS – Is to be out for 8 weeks after breaking his thumb in his last bout at Blackpool
