read this in boxing news today in there fight report. surely this cant compare. while it may it may have been very one-sided you cant compare the way calzaghe battered lacy with that. klitschko had every advantage and fought like he was petrified, calzaghe fought like a man possesed against someone who was supposed to beat him.
i was hoping boxing news would of criticised the performance rather than praised it.
klitschko was not criticised for not start stopping ibragimov rather his refusal to even try to.

Nope, nothing like it for me. huge dissapointment last weekend, load of rubbish.

Calzaghe's win was one of the best and most dominant performances of recent years. Klitschko's win was one of the most pathetic and tedious performances of recent years.

So, no, I don't think there's much of a comparison.

Fcuk all like each other. Calzaghe was on fire that night he bombarded Lacy from every angle, Wladmir was boring, robotic and negative (still annoyed I stopped up til 4:30 to watch that shower)

Wlad Klitschko fought with that nervousness about getting hit that you expect from a novice.

Calzaghe's beatdown of Lacy,on the other hand, was a commanding, relaxed punch-perfect display.

Klitschko bored the fans to tears and sullied the 'good' name of heavyweight boxing.

That Is such an unreal blasphemous report.



No beatdown yet can compare to what Joe did.

this report was really frustrating to read! it was won of the worst fights i have seen for a heavyweight title. to defend klitschko is not going to help. people need to get on his case. theres a difference between not being able to throw punches and simply refusing to.

Not even remotely close in that respect.

I'm surprised at Boxing News coming up with that analogy.

Exactly why I don't buy Boxing News anymore.
