I love the bit where Macca compares Bruce Scott and Mark Hobson in the same breath as Mormeck.

I like Macca and thought he was great against Braithwaite and learned a lot in the first Hobbo fight, but that farcical fight last time out could be the difference in who is sharper come fight night.

I think Haye is going to decapitate Macca and in spite of the hype I think it will be in the later rounds.

I fancy Macca myself. I just think he will dig deeper but we shall see it will be a good fight.

haye KO round 1

Macca is the challenger and is the 1 who needs to prove himself BUT he may shine threw. Big Mac has the better stamina and workrate and his power may come through when Haye leaves his guard though. I do favour Haye because of his better jab, speed, strength, power but it is an intriguing match up.

Enzo Maccarinelli is going to get a massive shock when he realises that David Haye is no Bobby Gunn!

He needs to keep quiet about delusion!

I can honestly see Macca getting put down a few times and stopped in the 1st round.

May the best man win. I just hope it isn't over too quickly.

Haye seems to be put on the back foot too easily for me, I've seen him get tired without even being put under serious pressure. Enzo doesn't have that problem, I can't imagine he would suddenly fall apart like Mormeck did.

Have to side with the 12 round fighter, but as I said, may the best man win!

I really hope Haye wins, but I see Maccarinelli getting this. He's been brought on beatifully by Warren, and Enzo Calzaghe has rubber stamped his reputation as a trainer by making Maccarinelli into one of the most improved fighters I've seen in the last 4 years.

If Maccarinelli survives the first 3 round, it's all his.

I don't understand why people think that if Enzo holds on for the first 4/5 rounds he'll win.

Haye got better round-by-round against Mormeck and could've gone at least 10/11 rounds before getting like he did against Thompson. And I can't see Macca holding up to Haye's right hands and uppercuts for that amount of time, especially when he lacks so much defence.

Enzo might have a lot of heart and desire but class will tell in the end - for further proof watch Hatton vs Mayweather again.

I didn't look to me as if Haye was getting better, he just kept himself in the fight and then Mormeck fell apart. It was a fine win but he looked as vulnerable as ever.

Put the 2004 version of Carl Thompson in with Haye of today and you'd still get a pretty similar result, IMO.

Haye as learned a lot since then. And instead of Haye getting tired, Mormeck got tired. The Haye that lost to Thompson would've tried to blow Mormeck away in four rounds, and in-turn, would've punched himself out. That Haye wouldn't have beaten Mormeck. Haye is now more cpmposed and patient in my opinion.

Haye's one weakness is his left IMO.

It'll certainly be interesting on the night. I can't wait. I just hope someone doesn't get caught cold in the first round, that wouldn't really prove enough. We know they can both be hurt. I want to see who can go through the storm and come out the other side.

Yeah agree mate. I now believe Haye has a lot more stamina, enough to go for 12 rounds.

The moral winner of this should be Haye, he's done everything right, fighting the best in Europe, doing the eliminators, Enzo 'won' his title the easy way and hasn't boxed anyone in the top 10. Enzo comes across as an engaging character and no doubt he has talent, but a victory for Haye will be a victory for boxing

I thought he was badly weight-drained against Mormeck because he was coming down from 217-220lbs from what he put on for Tomasz Bonin. He'll only have to lose about 13 pounds against Macca I think, so that will help his legs in my opinion. He will certainly be fitter and stronger against Macca than he was against Mormeck. Remember he had to lose all that muscle for Mormek - he doesn't quite have the same problem here.

I don't think we're going to see a sudden improvement in Haye's stamina. He could win a decision but only if he makes Enzo too afraid to come forward, which I don't see happening for 12 rounds.

Yeah, his stamina should be better. I reckon you'll get a good 8 or 9 rounds out of him. However, I expect Macca to set the pace high to counteract and burn him down quicker.

At the moment Haye's favourite to win 65-35% in my opinion, but Macca's going to be a threat. I don't care who wins, I just want a good scrap.

I was in Cardiff for maccas last fight, absolute shocker. I was pissed as a fart, but as I remember the crwd hardly muttered on the knock out.

Think we were all in shock at the pathetic opponent.

Would haved loved to have gone to the O2 though if my mate wasnt Thai fighting in Leeds the day after
