BIG FIGHT PRESSURE GETTING TO HAYE?

Enzo Maccarinelli has warned David Haye there will be no hiding place on Saturday night - as the WBA/WBC cruiserweight champion continues to show signs of paranoia in the build up to Saturday night.

It is rumoured that The Hayemaker was regularly changing gyms and hotels in the States to avoid being spied on in training.

And he has declined to reveal where a press event will take place tomorrow until the very last minute to avoid giving secrets away.

It mirrors similar behaviour in Florida, where he wouldn't tell journalists where to meet him until the day of scheduled interviews.

"It sounds as if Haye is running scared - but there'll be no hiding place on Saturday night," said WBO boss Maccarinelli.

"To be honest I don't need to spy on Haye because I know exactly how to beat him, and have done for ages.

"Don't get me wrong, he's a great champion and I've got a lot of respect for him, but there's only one winner in this fight and that's me."

Maccarinelli and Haye clash at the O2 Arena, London, on March 8 in one of the biggest domestic showdowns for years.

The mind games start. Can't see Haye feeling the pressure at all aside from the weight loss. Enzo is chinny so a puncher like Haye will fancy his chances. Hobson had him hanging on a couple of times in the first fight.

Then the same argument applies for Haye being chinny and Enzo fancying his chances.

What a great match up and I can hardly wait for this or the undercard on Saturday.

Spying on your opponent is a common thing in boxing. Even Dundee did it for Ali! Fair play to David for being astute enough to not allow Team Calzaghe to spy on him.

Enzo and Warren(and the rest of Enzo's stable) are riding the crest of a wave that is called Joe Calzaghe(more like a bloody Tsunami!)

HE is the only one who cannot lose under Enzo and Warren, mainly because he is a GREAT fighter, with world class ability(something which the rest of Enzo and Warrens stable certainly are not)

Confidence is high in the camp, but Haye is the real deal.

the question for me is whether they would all be so great if Warren didn't get the right opponent at the right time at the right place/weight. Would Enzo Cal's fighters all be unbeatable then?

Joe would maybe except for Roy Jones, he would run Roy close though and the other way around.

Macca has looked nervous, unconfident and agitated since the fight was aanounced.

When Haye won the title and said it was his final fight at 200, Macca looked much more comfortable.

Haye will spark him in 1 or 2.

Maccas only remote chance is a points win.

This is a great, local domestic British fight.

FW would never have taken the fight unless he was double confident, David is already saying that he is putting his life in jeopardy by making the weight etc, it does not bode well that he is making his excuses already.

They are both extremely young kids, it's about which one of them keeps their head.

They're both about 27, in the primes of their lives and improved after early career KO losses.

I think this is much more than a great domestic fight! This is on a par with Taylor-Pavlik 1, given that it's 1 of those 50-50 fights for a proper lineal world title.

Hopefully Haye doesn't fold like Taylor did.

It's a local domestic British domestic fight and they are both extremely young boys.

It's also a world title unification picked up by US TV.

I like the comparison to Taylor Pavlik, Autobarn.

I think we could see something like their first fight happening here. Haye looking to take his man out early but eventually gassing and getting caught himself.
