OK, now we have seens the back of the One dimensional Martinez(at least in the short term) the name Bernard Dunne must again be brought up and linked with a European title shot.

Only a few short months ago Dunne was chin-checked by Martinez, brutal, savage but as I pointed out before the Martinez-McCullough 'fight' Kiko had proven nothing, no-one knew how he would do down the stretch, no-one knew how he would do if someone didnt stand there with him and no-one knew how he would react when something came back at him..El 'sencacicon' failed all Three tests....

Now well done Rendall Munroe, great performance, a truly great story but what has he got that would harm Dunne?? I would have to say ABSOLUTELY NOTHING

His pitter patter shots wont hurt Dunne and his workrate doesnt seem to be so high he could outwork him...in other words Dunne would rip his title away in a very comfortable manner!

I think Munroe should enjoy his night of success, he earned it and that can never be taken away, but his title surely will be if he tackles Bernard

Dunne might beat Munroe, but I doubt he would destroy him.

Its a good fight... definately harder fight for Munroe than Martinez proved to be. Know one should doubt Dunne's boxing ability at EBU level - he's proven it decisively vs Pickering.

There are now some question marks on his chin -but Munroe is a lesser puncher than Martinez.

Its very intriguing, evenly poised. THE NON WORLD TITLE domestic fight I am most looking forward to.

Dunne withdrew as mandatory to the winner of last nights fight before the fight happened, he obviously thought KIKO was going to win.


I think Dunne should go and get some MAN STRENGTH before he fights again.

Is it just me or does Dunne look like a T Rex?

Dunne returns on April 12th in Co Mayo against Felix Machado. Let's see how he looks after the Kiko devastation.

seen Dunne box live (not versus Kiko!) and he cruises to a pts victory against Munroe.

Dunne could be a bit of a Ken NOrton.
