Haye/Fwank Warren Promotes..

IMO!
To follow on from the Haye/Options thread.
I think it will be Fwank Warren!!
But - Haye will have the say on who he fights - when he fight etc etc and Fwank would have to do it without all this UNFAIR OPTIONS lark that ruins so many of Fwanks fighters chances of fighting the best.
Options are one thing - but the crap Fwank insists on is another thing!
20k in the crowd last night when Haye is used to 2k in the crowd.
May even be on a fight by fight basis.
Fwank can promote.

It makes the most sense.
Haye supposedly made £900k last night.
Fwank pays well and hget a good crowd in and he can tell the idiots that read his column that HAYE is the 2nd coming of Jesus.
No way will Fwank dictate though, HAYE is on a mission.

I think Haye can sell now on his own.

Not yet - in time yes, but not yet.
Even then- he will only employ someone to run his show.
Thats the way Naz did it with Barry Hearn.

I think he will sell. Get the right promoter does not have to be frank can be another.

Unfortunatley it has to be Fwank.
No other UK promoter gets 20k through the door.
Example - I went to Manchester MEN for a Matchroom Promotion.
Brodie Vs SOMEONE GOOD
Richard Williams Vs Sergio Martinez
Brian Magee Vs South African guy who was good
Lord of the Manor ( forgot his name)
Must have been 2k there at best
FWANK IS A FISH BUT HE DOES THE BUSINESS.
Haye wants the Big Crowds.

I don`t see Haye going with Fwank working in Hayes best interest.
Its clear that Haye is not just in it for the money, something almost all Fwanks boys seem to be..
Maybe thats because - apart from Calzaghe - Haye is a genuine world beater, so he can afford to be that way..
I just don`t see Haye being happy tucked away/hidden on a channel such as Setanta ... how many viewers did they actually get last night?
For me, Haye deserves a wider audience ... something that Fwank doesn`t seem to be able to provide anymore..
So maybe he stays on the other side of the water .. even though they don`t have any champions of their own .. they seem to have adopted those that are.
Fwank offers Haye nothing.

Who is to say that ITV won't add HAYE to their other FWANK WARREN fighter in AMIR KHAN(T).
I think we will see Haye on ITV promoted by FWANK.

ITV are finished with Fwank after khan contract.
Haye has no respect for warren.
Therefore i doubt it very much.
Everyone knows that stable is drying up fast and only Khan can headline after Joe retires of that bunch.
But who wants to see Khan fight binmen, school teachers and mechanics ?

Can't see Haye going with Warren. Haye is a bit scornful of that kind of career management as has been said.
I'll bet Warren will try and get an exclusive with the 02, an arena that Haye can surely draw a lot of ppl in now. All promoters will want a part of Haye in the UK, so you'd think FW would try.

Agree BUT - Fwank may be desperate and the deal HAYE could make may be worthwhile.
Yes, Fwanks stable is drying up!

All the BIG promoters (US & UK) will be clambering over him after last night, he'll take the best offer whilst assuring he has the necessary control of his career IMO

We don't need this allegedly in boxing.
David won't go near him.

I suppose the fact Fwank retired this morning makes it a no no!

the waaarreen golden days are over. haye will pitch in with de la hoya and quite right that he does. waarren gave the fans some good fights over the years but not nearly as many as he should have.
lets drink to the demise of the "at all cost protect the zero in the losses column" it has damned near killed our sport

I predict Frank is far from over. What about when he gets Khan an alphabet belt? Or Calzaghe going to America for Hopkins, in what looks a sure win for the Welshman? Or having decent types Arthur and Lockett challening Guzman and Pavlik respectively (and he's promoting at least 1 of these fights).
Also, if Haye fights again in London, who is going to stage as big a show as Warren?
Posted: 09 Mar 2008, 15:53
by leforge
Barry Hearn could stage the show easily. Has done in past, he promotes darts each week playing to crowds of 5,000.

allegedly will no retire from boxing. He said if Enzo lost to Haye he'd retire -
and Warren is nothing is not a man of his word.

Has Barry hearn done more than 5000 in Boxing since the days of Eubank?
Posted: 09 Mar 2008, 16:18
by leforge
No but he could do it. He got over 5000 people watching darts live. I think with the right fighter he would do promotion right.

I`m sure they would seriously consider having Haye fight for them ... just not so sure they will be happy having to deal with Fwank
David Haye is a breath of fresh air for British boxing - for the simple reason he wants to fight the best - and jumps at the chance given the oppurtunity
Fwank is copying what fr-Audley gave the BBC in what he`s giving ITV with`Trash-Khan`- and seems to be less than polite when discussing ITV .. and the new guy in charge there also.
The rubbish he gave Sky won`t have them keen to give him a contract again.
And Setanta at the moment are getting the best out of him .. how long will he be doing that? .. or should that be how long
can he do that??
I get the impression he has got too big for his boots and thinks he can dictate to the TV companies ..
Hearn, Maloney or Hennessy could soon be taking over .. all it takes is a terestrial tv contract.
