O/T - Last night's betting

Anyone on here last night do worse than me?........I sincerely hope not.
70 on Macca on points at 10-1 (started with 30 then went back for more with half hour to go)
10 on Enzo last round at 50-1
6 on Enzo in the 10th and same for the 11th at 28 and 33-1 respectively......there's more
20 on Johanneson by TKO or KO in any round at 4-1 (ridiculously generous against Mitchell's untested (and subsequently discovered to be tough as fcking teak
) chin).
TOTAL LOSS 112 pounds.
I really believed both men would refrain from any sort of prolonged mid ring tear up that would see the inevitable KO.....sure I envisaged sticky patches and maybe the odd knock down but I thought Enzo would come thru with the fitness and not getting dragged into a fight out of respect for Haye's punch thereby making him unlikely to score a KO himself.
I actually tipped Mitchell weeks ago when it wasn't the popular choice on here but for some reason when I saw Carl at 3-1 and 4-1 by actual KO I just thought it was a pisstake and went for it. I never really thought he was capable of handing Mitchell the battering he was doing for several rounds. I actually started to feel guilt that I stood to pocket 80quid as Mitchell took his pasting, is it really right to make money while someone else gets battered? (I don't back horses on acct of the fact they're always falling over and getting put down - that and I couldn't pick a pony from a Cheltenham Gold Cup winner from 2 yards).
Then Carl just literally folded through a combination of exhaustion and some well placed shots by Mitchell. I was actually very pleased for Johanneson as there was a suspicion (with me anyway) that he was slowing and getting shot....I've followed him for years since the old BBC2 at midnight days and I'm glad to say there was obviously a lot, lot more in the tank than I gave him credit for. He can come again should he choose to.
Massive plaudits to Kevin Mitchell who although was defensively/ skillswise exposed to an extent (albeit by a man of Carl's high calibre) the sheer fitness, will to win and yes, chin were amazing I thought. Fight of the night for me (from what I saw on tele) - in fact domextically I doubt it will be topped in 2008.
Very impressed with Haye although there wasn't much to marvel at apart from the punch that won it really and I don't really think another Haye thread is needed.
Anyway, just a few thoughts if anyone's interested on what was the best night of boxing for a while IMO. As regards the betting as crap as I did I'd place every one of those again tomorrow. That's me done for another few months I think!
