In a word,NO. Nunn was easily the best pound4pound pure boxer from 88 to 91,and even shot to bits he madeRoy Jones Junior give up his WBC belt to duck him because Jones knew he probably couldn't beat him! We're talking about a 6'3 southpaw with fast hands,fast feet,100 right jabs a round,30-punch flurries,reflexes,movement,ranginess,ropes for defence(when needed) and the smoothest,most fluid of styles. He was completely schooling James Toney until the last 2 rounds,and didn't take a punch against Frank Tate in 15. He had insane ability but just sucked his career up his nose.

Benn wouldn't of got near him,Chris would have been made to look like a novice.

Well, it would depend on the stage of his career - he was fantastic operator in his pomp... but looked terrible vs Steve Little. I don't the Eubank or Benn would have any problems with that version of Nunn.

Nunn won his IBF title in 1988 with a dazzling nine-round stoppage of Frank Tate - but then largely disappointed as champ and became a nightmare to deal with, by all accounts. And a nightmare to watch. Yes, he poleaxed Sumbu Kalambay in one round but that was followed by disappointing efforts against a washed-up Juan Roldan, tough old Iran Barkley (who nearly beat him in late 1989), tiny little Marlon Starling (whom he couldn't even stop) and so forth.
To answer your question, he probably would have beaten Benn and Eubank. But not in the way a fighter really should.

Nunn did have a nice smooth style.. tall, rangey and not an ounce of panic at all, but only powder puff stuff.. Eubank would have walked right through him and strengthed him out of there.. Benn would have obliterated a backpedaling Nunn.. this is at MW..

Good question this one.

Nunn was an exceptional fighter, but as Toney proved, he was not invincible.

If Toney could spark him, both Benn & Eubank would have had a good shot.

Saying that, I think it's unlikely they would have beaten him, but it certainly was not beyond the realms of possibility.

Eubank= hell no

Benn= would be easily outboxed, but if he clips him with the left hook he does more damage than James Toney. The cliched punchers chance.

are you joking, Nunn looked in total control and was never threatened by Batrkley's strength. Even when they traded blows Nunn came off the better. He also beat the shit out of Roldan without getting hurt along the way (as Hearns did). Othr than that I agree he was a letdown (Starling, Curry) and ppl were waiting for him to get beaten, which Toney did agaisnt the odds.

Nunn was very sloppy and overrated.He built his career around looking good against Frank Tate and a fluke first round knockout.

His win over kalambay was one of the very worst things to happen to the middleweight division at that time.It was all coked out lethargy from there on.

Benn in his physical prime would have blew him out in three rounds. I have little doubt. It doesn't matter how fast you move, Nigel Benn at middleweight will hit you.

Nunn and Eubank would have been interesting, to say the least. I remember Nunn's post-fight interview after he fought Crawford Ashley, he was asked if he would fight Eubank... he said he wouldn't, referring to Eubank as "poison". I think a lot of fighters stayed well clear of Eubank, he had the most awkward style out there. I think Nunn would potshotted him for 12 rounds, though.

I don't doubt that Benn would have lost to Nunn (late round stoppage IMO) but he would have busted Nunn up along the way

Eubank would have been tougher, but I think would have lost a hard split points decision.

The person who I think would have beaten Nunn was Watson. The Watson coming off his Benn victory would have been a very tough match for Nunn
