Last year Nicky was being touted as one of our top prospects but he has slipped below our radar, whats going on??
Surely 2 fights in 15 months isnt enough???

He is fighting next Saturday mate!!!

Spoke to his dad today - Nicky has prepared well and is delighted he is back on track.
Got told who he is boxing but the name escapes me - a guy that put Scot Lawton on his arse - I will find out the name of the guy.

I am a big fan of Nickys - sometimes the lad is a law unto himself - but I am convinced he has turned a corner and will prove he is an alright lad - clearly not a world beater and he will hate me for saying that but Nicky will do okay for himself if he simply buckles down and gets on with the job - he is talented but it has probably taken a tadge time for him to realise that alone is not enough.
How many times have we all seen boxers very early on even after a while where we have thought this guy has got what it takes for him to fail!!! - Nicky Smedley will succeed - good hard old fashioned work and faith in those around him will also get him there.

Not a bad little fight. Should give the lad something to think about for a few rounds.
Is it televised?

I don't think so - show is at Dom Valley.
I know some of the fans amongst you will agree - sometimes these non televised shows throw up some really good fights.
Jon Ibbotson is fighting Simeon Cover
Femi Fehintola is fighting Jon Baguley - I think he fought Vinnie Mitchell the other week.

Might not be a world better yet Spud ,but give the lad time to learn and who knows
