fenechs comback, money, names, and mudine..

Post by pawpaw »

its pretty simple really. fenech knows a dollar. knows how to make one. has a big name. is not TOO old.

he sees mundine fighting nobodies, risking nothing, making millions, all because of his name.

so jeff says. i can do that too!! fight bums, make millions! like foreman did, but with the focus on m.o.n.e.y not a title. and he will make MILLIONS. good luck to him.

the boxing public are sheep......mundine has proven it.

it doesnt matter if fenech actually needs the money. he will make even more this time, if he does it right. its a joke really. the joke is on the boxing public. and mundine has led the way.

Why do you browse a boxing forum when you clearly hate the sport so much?

Im 24 years old and i have never had the privillage of watching Jeff Fenech fight.

Come mid year, i will. Simple as that.

When he earns a dollar fighting, good luck to him. He earnt it. Hes in the ring fighting. Hes putting in the hard yards. He did it tough on the way up.

Jeff Fenech can earn all the money in the world. I just wanna see him fight.

Good luck, Jeff.

As best i can, I understand your perspective. But I remember paying money to watch Pele play soccer many years ago when he came to Australia. I was playing at the time, so I was honoured to have seen the best play. But he was no the magician he once was. If it wasn't him, it would have only been another very good player.

Jeff will be the same, perhaps more jaded with time. You will see him fight, but it won't be the same man. However, I do understand that won't be a dissapointment to you though.

If you want to see what Jeff was like at his best, you would be better off looking for videos of his fights. Anything up to the first time he fought Azumah Nelson. watch him fight this year, you will not appreciate what a ball of fury he was.

fenech could do it all.....except one punch ko someone. he could box with head movement, great footwork, jab, tripple jab, hook, tripple right hands, 200 punches a round, work in close, box behind a jab, uppercut, work to the body, liver shots, or just walk up fight. mostly just walk up fight. but ALWAYS, fenech led with a jab. underated jab.

what a fighter. he was a wind up destroyer.

You'll be watching some guy in the ring who calls himself Jeff Fenech, but the real deal hasn't been seen for over 10 years.

Fenech used to be the man, check out his 1st fight with Azumah Nelson if you can, a great scrap marred by one of the worst decisions ever. Fenech's career was over the second that decision was announced.

EXACTLY. he subconciously made up his mind to stop fighting. he was finished. his concious mind just didnt know it.

like RJJ. he won the heavy title. subconciously he had climbed the mountain. he was finished. next fight he got ko'd by an ordinary fighter. and a few times since. the RJJ of today, and the jeff fenech after nelson 1, was a result of the subconcious deciding it was finished. and it was...
