i think i read on here it's Darren Gethin.

I don't think (well it's pretty bloody obvious isn't it) that Gethin is not expected to win but he has provided a great little test for many a boxer who has aspired to reach top domestic level on the way up.

plus Kell's young (21??) so although I think he'll beat Gethin if there are any mental frailties Gethin will prove a tough test.

One of my favourite fights of 2006 was watching Tyan Booth try to blast out Gethin almost with disdain for about 4 rounds with ever decreasing confidence.......it caught up with about 2 minutes left in the fight when Gethin still coming forward a bit like that Mummy if you like that Ali used to say someone (Frazier maybe?) was like, and landed the perfect shot to knock an exhausted Booth completely out, what a finish.

Sorry Emma, I have just checked Setanta to set the fight to record and it would appear that the Cardiff bill is not being broadcast live unless there is something wrong with the listings. If my Sky box is giving the correct information, Setanta are broadcasting a 1 hour slot on Sunday night with repeats on Monday. Which means that if the Rees v Kotelnik fight goes the distance, there won't be much room for many, if any undercard fights in a 1 hour slot.

I will pm you the result though as soon as the fight finishes.

Got to agree with North East Boxing fan, Gethin is a tough nut to crack, although Tyan Booth was weight drained when he fought Darren in Nottingham. He should never have tried to boil down to welterweight.

I must be going senile in my old age. Just checked again and you're right. I think that I must have pressed twice on the +24 hour button. It's set to record now. Can't stream it for you this time as I haven't got the network set up in our new flat yet.

What makes someone being a fan of a boxer obsessed? If a Ricky Hatton fan wanted to watch his fight but had no sky they would ask someone to do a RBR. Does that make them obsessed aswell? In that case every boxing fan is obsessed. If anyone here is obsessed Its you as all you seem to do is follow my posts and then post stupid comments.... poor lad.
