Gareth Hogg - Nader Hamdan

Fighting in May, in Aus. Bit of a step up for Gareth, Hamdan recently lost a pretty wide decision to Mundine at SM, but is better than any of Hogg's opposition to date... a tidy win would look on his resume though. Would like to see Gareth fighting back over here again, think he'd be a real handfull for any of our light heavies - clinton and joe aside, at the moment.

I saw that he'd moved out there and won some pan pacific title. I saw him in training a few times and he was the bomb, but every time I saw him fighting in the ring he just didn't seem to click...

Would be nice if he got a win out there.

Yep, I haven't seen Gareth for a few years since moving away, but he used to be awesome in training... sparring with Scott Dann, Glen Catley etc... he was really good. Last time i spoke to him he'd been up in Sheffield sparring with Clinton Woods and was pretty pleased with how he got on...
His major problem is inactivity... too few fights in quite a long career... shame really... he should have taken the Oboh fight in my opinion, but he says the money wasn't right and he couldn't afford the time off work... then obviously he split with the sanigars and hasn't fought here since... shame.
Hopefully he'll be back when he's done in Oz!

He'll clean up!

Thats ma boy!!

Gareth's right in Oz now- living and breathing the game.

He had too much shit to deal with in the UK to focus fully on doing his thang when it mattered!

He'll bend this Nader Hamden's ribs then move on to pick up the title Green gave up rather than face him!!

Watch out Oz- Hoggyz about and he's staying to clean up!!
