This has probably been beat to death. But what do you think about Pep winning round 3 over Greaves without throwing a punch? Do you think you could score it that way? I saw a brief clip and it looked like Greaves may have at least landed a few grazing punches.

Isn't the story of Pep winning the third round aginst Jackie Graves without throwing a single punch is just a myth?
Like Paul Berlenbach getting his hearing back after getting struck by lightning?
Or Battling Levinsky fighting three fights in thre different locations on new years day 1915?
From what I gather these stories have all been proved to be false.

I don't know about Berlenbach, but somebody from the IBRO has debunked both the Graves and Battling Levinsky myths. Neither happened.
I'll see if I can find more tonight.

From what I understand, it's a myth, but I could be wrong.
Personally, I don't care if Pep levitated & blew a kiss to the President's wife at ringside, no punches gives you no round 10/10 on my card.

The three bouts for Levinsky was a fabrication of Dumb Dan Morgan.

That's an article worth keeping. I've never understood how it was possible in the first place.
