Let's cut to the chase

And yes I've had a few chasers.

Ricky Hatton has brain damage, I had a terrible preminition(sp?) before the Floyd fight that The Hitman was gonna die that night or something bad was going to happen in his brain. He cannot speak properly anymore, his speech patterns are all over the shop.

If Hatton hates Junior sooo much that he doesn't want to give him any kind of pay-day whatspever, then really shouldn't we be asking why? I've personally not seen anything on camera that is so, so bad, have you?? Has Witter had a pop at him or got under his skin in private?

Because, it is an unhealthy hate that Hatton's carrying around, very much like Benn and Watson's hate of Eubank. And let's not forget, the reason there was no Benn-Eubank III is because Benn heard Eubank had financial problems and didn't want to help him out!

If you are going to post yet another Witter-Hatton thread, please give it a relevant title.

That way people like me who are sick to death of hearing about it can avoid these threads.

I don't buy the theory that Hatton won't fight Witter because he thinks may/knows he will get beaten.

If that was the case, he would have never fought Mayweather.

There's more to it than that.

Any threads involving Hatton/Witter/Enzo Calzaghe are receiving a wide berth from me at the moment. STP sucked me in unawares  :D

For £30,000,000 and the chance to be hailed as the best pound-for-pound champion of the face of the planet (I had a chance with a body shot), I'd have fought Andre The Giant in a no-holds-barred giant carpark brawl in Chicago.

I hope Hennessy is trying to line up a summer bout on ITV1 for Witter, maybe with Torres or Kotelnik? Keep juices flowing, and stuff. fornicate Malignaggi, Hitman Hatton-Hitter Witter at Wembley in November son, or emigrate to America and fornicate off. Yeah, I said it. I'm brave.

I the words of Kevin Keegan "I would love it" if N'Dou beat Malignaggi, totally derailing Hatton's plans, there'd be no point in fighting Paulie if he lost, Hatton would have nowhere to turn but Witter

Quality. I couldn't bring myself to fight Ric Flair though. That would be like whaling on your Dad, albeit an insane, roided one.

Doubt Kotelnik unifies. Took him 2 tries to win the title, he's lost abroad before that as well, and he is promoted by Universum who just don't risk titles.

Very true Autobarn.

If they can tempt Torres to the States or UK that would be the best match for Witter. Could be a hell of a fight that one!

A raw slugger like Torres could play right into Witter. The right amount of danger/crudeness to brig out Witter's best. Sadly, Ring mag/Hatton devotees will still maintain Hatton is "The Man" - not only that, but that Witter isn't allowed to fight him!

I think lightweight and light welter are going to be a real mess. Casamayor and Campbell have to fight; so do Hatton and Witter because it's sad to see a division split so controversially due to Ring mag's policy.

I think you have to put yourself in Hatton's position, if you've been offered fights against Witter, De La Hoya & Mayweather which one would you go for?

I think it's crazy that he hs been offered these fights with ppl like DLH. Hatton is clearly a one-weight fighter, like Israel Vazquez the super bantam whose amazing form will evaporate if he ever goes up to feather for someone like Linares. Mayweather is a horrible fight despite home advantage, and even though this time Floyd won't be allowed to duck low and use subtle fouls (and Hatton will be allowed to clutch away in a bid to squeeze the fight out of him).

Ppl are going to go on about Witter forever & it may hurt Hatton's place in British boxing history. But not his bank balance. Imagine Hatton-Witter PPV #s; they'd be big.

They'd be big but not that big, compared to a purse against any recognisable fighter in the US. I think personally the Witter fight may happen but it will be one of Hattons last win or lose.

Too much Risk, Too little reward.

Hatonn probably Wins, but just not worth taking the Risk to hatton. He wants Money, more money.

Those fights were mentioned 07/08 - the FRAUD known as Hatton has been running from Witter since 1999.

As you know - he fought a host of domestic opponents and mediocre lightweights and superfeathers WHILE avoiding WITTER.

The Hatton story will not end well. But he s a shit talking fraud.

We should start a sweepstake on how many 'Hatton is ducking Witter' threads are started in any given month...
