Undercard fight with the Cuban and Braithwaite will likely follow

Its the same broadcast as the one on ARD. They will first show Hernandez vs Braithwaite live then Abraham vs Ayala live. And then there is a delayed broadcast of Licena vs Nasyrov (this fight might be shown in full, it depends on the outcome of the other two fights).

well the ref did his best to get hernandez up after his 1st knockdown but braithwaite just walked right through him.

Perhaps this puts Macca's win over Wayne in a better light

One of the most corrupt pieces of refereeing I've ever seen. Hernandez was out of it and the ref drags him to his feet. The fight could've been called off at about 10 different occassions in a 30 second period.

Great win for Braithwaite. I thought he was 'done' in the first round. Hernandez seemed to shake him with everything he landed. The Cuban was frighteningly one paced, though.

true I was surprised the ref actually called it off, even tho wayne knocked him down 3 times, with it being in germany i expected the fight to go on until hernandez couldn't get up anymore, Braithwaite done good here

From watching the replay it looks like the ref calls it a slip - then he helps Hernandez up and realizes that he was hurt and then starts the count. He didnt have the best day at the office.

I wonder if Sauerland will try to get braithwaite to fight either Huck or Frankel next.

Abraham has looked very ordinary tonight - the yank did good - Abraham is so lazy he really is - he has a ko chance against Pavlik he is a million on points against Kelly

Finally Abraham laid him out.

how much longer can abraham keep defending the IBF title and still retain credibility, he needs to unify with Sturm and then face off with the winner of Pavlik-Lockett, but knowing the Germans he'll keep defending his title until retirement

I think Abraham would eat a hefty amount of punches, so he couldn't sit back for the first 3 rounds like tonight. He hardly did anything. His cheeks look very rosy at the end tonight.

Yeah I did wonder about that, but it was so clearly a knockdown that the guy must be incompetent. I think he was so shocked to see the house favorite go over, he "thought that's not meant to happen!" And started helping the Cuban up, then thought, shit this looks bad, and started counting - bizzare.
Relieved he waved it off when he did though, as I thought he might give the out of it Cuban another chance.

I thought Hernandez looked a massive talent in the 1st round, but he's soooo casual about it all. Hard & fast combos, but at the end of the 2nd the warnings were there, as WB crashed a right hand off him.
But the Cuban was way over confident in there, and Wayne DOES hit like a truck.
I reckon Hernandez comes back a better fighter and picks up a world title soon.

The result makes Big Macc look good though.

Arthur looked very ordinary didn't he, blowing like mad after just 4 rounds, deceptive though, as that was a brutal finish.
Elvin had no business getting a title shot, but that was tough on him to get mashed like that in the last, after a brave effort.
