Hi all! I'm looking for anything I can find of my late Uncle George Pyne's Boxing career. He was from Dartford in Kent & active as a pro Boxer from 1933-1937, when he sustained a perforated Eardrum & retired from Boxing. I have many of his press cuttings & some memorabilia, so far I have his Fight record at: 43 with 26 W, 10DR,6Lo, & 1 unknown! But I'm pretty sure there were more contests.
He then carried on as a Trainer for the Sea Cadets & also was a founder member of the old Dartford ABC, where he started many local lads, who went on to become Champions, at amateur & Professional levels. Dave Charnley, Mark Rowe, Brian Packer, to name a few! I am trying to source any old Programmes or Handbills, magazine/papers that mention him from his Fighting days & from his Training Days too. Ive informed John of his record as the record currently here on this site only has 10 recorded fights for him & his name was spelt wrong too! many thanks Bernie the Bolt!
