Wayne Braithwaite, Guyanan cruiser who beat Adam Watt and Tosca Petridis in Australia early in his career on his way to the WBC Cruiserweight title, is back on the winning side of the ledger after beating boom Cuban Yoan Pablo Hernandez (previously unbeaten in 14 fights) in three rounds on the Abraham card this morning. Braithwaite won the title when the weight limit was 190 pounds and lost it after a few defences to Mormeck with the limit at 200 pounds. Braithwaite usually fought at 188. He is now 198 pounds and at 32 may still have a future.
