Ok just a couple of things I would change without mentioning Scott Harrison

Munroe has maybe entered too highly, not sure i'd have him above the likes of Lynes (too low) but then he has to go aboe Dunne so I can see why you've done it

Mitchell would have entered slightly higher, Skelton's name just looks a bit odd being that high. Wayne McCullough last won a fight 3.5 years ago, he has looked shot for about 5 years - how does he make it on still? At least with Harrison he didn't lose his title in the ring, what excuse does Wayne have? Being slightly competitive with Larios 3 years ago?

IMO Ian Napa shouldn't be on that list, its only a matter of time until he loses his belt in a weight class that lacks class.

Also whose the Irish guy who pulls in big crowds in the states and has a 100% record, I saw him a while back fighting but his name has deserted my memory!

Duddy is in there pal, Lockett isn't, but there are numerous fighters in there who should not be.

Duddy, thats his name, I was really impressed with him. I wonder if he boxed in the UK more, we'd here more about him and he'd be ranked alot higher.

Think the two Middleweight fighters in your list are a little high.

Also just wonder - what about Jason Cook. Ex European champion now declared that he is coming back... so really is more active than McCullough.

He wouldn't because he's very limited and will soon get found out.

Nice guy though, if he does get any success I would be happy for him..

Well I've only watched him once so your probably a better judge, but he's the type of fighter who sells tickets, if I remember he doesn't have a guard up does he?

Think of Rocky 1, 2, 3, and 4 rolled into 1 show, without the dramatic ending, footwork or movement.

John Duddy is good at blocking shots....................with his head.

But hats off..... hes making the most with what hes got!

What's all this about?

Captain Hook, do you still think Maccarinelli should be above Arthur?

I would have Haye above Hatton. He has as good as cleaned out a whole division something Hatton has never done. And done it spectacularly. He is the number 1 Cruiserweight without any shadow of a doubt, can the same be said for Hit 'n Hold at 140?

Wayne McCullough not fought since 2005, a KO loss. can't see how you can still rate him until he fights again.

Tony Oakey is a bit low. He may not be everyones cup of tea, but on a good run, and should be above Eastman, McCullough and Johanneson

I'm sure Steve Cunnigham wouldn't agree.

Yes, I did not want to enter Munroe so highly, but I felt that he should be above Dunne.
Lenny wrote:Mitchell would have entered slightly higher, Skelton's name just looks a bit odd being that high.
I could have put Mitchell higher but, since he has just entered the list, I thought I would be conservative and not put him in too highly.

Skelton is the clear number one British Heavyweight and is about to fight for the European title, so I don't really think he is overrated in my list.

McCullough has not retired so according to my rules I cannot just take him out. Wayne dropped two places this month, so he won't be in the list forever.

Napa deserves his place in my opinion, he is on a good run of form beating: Booth, Haskins and Power; if anything he is ranked too low.

Why mention Lockett? Who are these numerous fighters who should not be there? Do you care to name them?
Gooner123 wrote:Duddy, thats his name, I was really impressed with him. I wonder if he boxed in the UK more, we'd here more about him and he'd be ranked alot higher.
I do not think he would be any higher in my list if he boxed in the UK more.

There are three Middleweight fighters on my list: Duddy, Elcock and Eastman. Perhaps they are all a little high, not by much though.
stujones wrote:Also just wonder - what about Jason Cook. Ex European champion now declared that he is coming back... so really is more active than McCullough.
Jason Cook was not in my list when he was still active, so he will not be entering my list unless he gets at least one big win.

He is not very limited, Duddy is fringe World class.

Recent high level victories at their weights:

Haye - Mormeck: No.1, Maccarinelli: Top 5, Gurov: Top 10, Fragomeni: Top 30.
Hatton - Tszyu: No.1, Castillo: Top 5, Urango: Top 10, Maussa: Top 10.

Neither has really cleaned out their division. Hatton has Witter to sort out and Haye has Cunningham.
nickd wrote:He is the number 1 Cruiserweight without any shadow of a doubt, can the same be said for Hit 'n Hold at 140?
Neither have fought the number one contender whilst they have been champion, so there is doubt over both men's status as the best in the division.

"Hit 'n Hold"? Why don't you just call him Hatton?
