Boxing has gone gaga with this "March Madness" and totally overlooked Haye's big win in favor of Pacquiao, the Marquez bros, Israel Vazquez, Casamayor & Nate Campbell. What the Yank writers are doing is already writing Haye's heavyweight chances off - Doug Fischer said he will be "nothing more than Jeremy Williams with an English accent" - when in fact Haye has more future in him & more crossover appeal than these guys, who have possibly left it all in the ring already.

It's a shame, for the moment. When Haye makes an impact at Heavyweight it will be nice. You can already see non-Brits in the Current Scene who are not happy with Haye claiming he will make an impact. And I say non-Brits, because it's not just Americans.
Have you seen the video of Jeremy Williams and Lennox Lewis sparring? Williams doesn't come across as someone many people can like. Haye has a lot more appeal.
It's quite funny how the Lightweight division has gone haywire. I'm definitely interested in seeing who ends up on top over the next few years.
