the uk picked a poor team.
it could have been a slightly better team than the one chosen.
some of our boys were way out of there depth.

I like the concept; hopefully it will be fairly competitive this time. I'm not sure the UK had such a weak team, it's just that some of the US fighters pulled off upsets (Curiel over Minter for example).

I know us Brummies are an intimidating lot but I would have thought that SN would have ventured back into the second biggest city in England before now!

Hopefully we'll have some big events in Brum once Frankie Gavin turns pro and maybe we can have the likes of Macklin on the card.

SN had Macklin for years and didnt once put him on in his home city - shame on them.
We have a GREAT fight this month in the Elcock v McDermott match. Can't wait.
As you say, the likes of Frankie and Khalid Yafai can turn amateur success into exciting pro careers but it is long over due in Brum.
