Michalczewski-Ottke Update!
After "oldies" boxing events in Germany featuring Axel Schulz and Henry Maske brought mega-TV ratings and sold out arenas, organizers are perplexed at the lukewarm interest in the scheduled May 24th fight at the TUI Arena in Hannover between former world champions Dariusz Michalczewski (39) and Sven Ottke (40). To date, no TV deal has been reached and only 3,500 tickets have been sold. Promoter Jakub Andreas Grajewski vows the event will go on even if there is no TV.
Lets hope they scrap this crap!
