Today's Daily Telegraph has this rather sad article about Bob Mirovic and what's left for him in the fight game:

Whilst I have always liked the big fella, and whilst I think he is an 'ornament to the game' I also understand that not everyone can make money doing the things they like. If that was the case I would be playing golf 7 days per week. But unfortunately I am not good enough and so I work 9 to 5. Its good honest work and I really don't know why Big Bob doesn't find something to do, sure he'd rather fight but maybe its too late, and your'e too slow and you should do something 9 to 5 and not look for handouts. Ouch did I say that?
I'll still watch you Bob, and pay when you come to Melbourne but there is too few of us now.

An uninformed article. Its a report only using some quotes to give it some stuffing. But the writer doesn't understand Bob's situation. His time is up. I agree with Grant, look for good honest work Bob. It might be the hardest thing Bob has ever had to come to grips with, but he is too slow, and could became (if not already) a human punching bag. Jeff is out for Jeff alone. He may think he is helping Bob, but in the end it will all be about Jeff. Bob may have enough pull to make a living via the sport that he loves, but his time as a mainevent is up.

What do you expect from a rag like the Telegraph? Bob is quite capable of making his own decisions. Sure, he will never be a World Champion, but few boxers ever get that far.
