its getting boring now....another fighter without a chance fought another win for mr hype.

khan is not world class he aint beat a guy who is near world class...if warren is serious he should put khan in with joel cassamayor.

he is still a decent fight with "a punch"...yes mr warren "a punch"

khan has a chin problem so warren is making him teh most protected fighter ever...world class???...prove it and fight a legitamate world class fighter.

that dane was not even in the top 30

They should stick him in with someone like Jesus Chavez or Jose Armando Santa Cruz. If he fights on HBO then they may demand an opponent of that calibre.

This fight meant nothing in my book.

Amir Khan has never been given a real test, if he was an ORDINARY fighter then it would be ok - but he THINKS he is a World Champion this year so he must be judged by that criteria.

Fwank is not convinced!

:D

Agreed, I was watching the fight, but hardly interested as it was a case of when not if Khan would beat him.

Just seen Amir's interview, he thought Kristjansen was still standing when he hit him on the floor! Even when Rosenthal pointed out that he wasn't arrogant Amir wasn't even thinking of an apology.

this is the story...warren is waiting for the wbo to strip campbell...then amir will fight a hand-picked opponent picked by warren eg: a safe opponent

mark my words this will happen

amir vs campbell or cassamayor = no chance

If they strip Campbell then Casamayor is the champ!

Amir has to fight one of them!

Jesus Chavez? that would be Goodnight Vienna if ever I saw that odd phrase being personified in a ring.

Chavez would be khan's worst nightmare and my wet dream for the bank balance.

I can't see anyway around it other than to fight a big name. With the WBO having an Interim title and the normal title taken up I can't see anyway of bypassing that. If Campbell has to vacate then surely Casamayor will be first in line. Even if he somehow manages to avoid them, won't he have to fight Peterson who was #1 before tonight or Juan Diaz who was #2.
He can't go after any of the other belts as Diaz is defending against Pac and Campbell has the others.
The best chance he has is if Campbell faces Casamayor then Joel vacates, with Khan fighting average opposition in the meantime.

Chavez is 5'5, old, small at the weight, lacking pop and doesnt have the heart to fight after killing a man in the ring. He was stoped in 3 by Julio Diaz who isn't particularly special

The commentators were mentioning Khan fighting Nate Campbell.

losing to Michael Watson didnt do Benn alot of harm, did it..? Khan should fight a W.B.C eliminator or a top 2-3 W.B.A/I.B.F guy, OR Casamayor.. NEXT..

if Khan is ever going to be the real deal, he should be pretty good by now..! why not throw him in..?

He's vacated the Commonwealth now. Warren doesn't do European.

I guess he'll 'progress' onto WBU Intercontinental, then.

and he looks like a 1-legged fighter, going by the Julio Diaz loss. (the Julio Diaz who quit when he couldn't keep Juan Diaz off him!)

I must be behind the times again. The last time I saw chavez was against morales, that chavez would have destroyed khan. Has he slipped enough to be beaten by Khan though, really?

I was thinking Armando Santa Cruz as well - I think should be fairly easy to make. Maybe even Anthony Peterson - I think Khan would beat them both.
