Imagine getting divorced over that...

'My wife finally had enough when she caught me with someone else at 4 in the morning.'

'Oh yes? Must have been a fit bird, eh?'

'Nah. Steve Holdsworth and Bob Mee.'

On a big night of boxing, Bernard Dunne launches his comeback against former IBF super-flyweight champion Felix Machado in Ireland tonight in a 10-rounder.
The charismatic Dubliner was smashed in 86 seconds by Spanish puncher Kiko Martinez in his last fight eight months ago. Defeat cost Dunne the European super-bantamweight title, a high world ranking and an unbeaten 24-fight record. In fairness, he looked dead at the weight and it will be interesting to see how much he weighs for this one, as it will how he fights. Bernard was hailed as the next coming of Wayne McCullough prior to Martinez, who lost the belt in his first defence to Leicester's unsung Rendall Munroe. At 28 (no spring chicken for a small man), Dunne needs to look pretty good.
Machado is positively ancient at 35 and lost his IBF belt - after three solid defences - back in January 2003 to Nicaragua's Luis Alberto Perez in the States (points). Since then, the Venezuelan has fought only five times, including a failed attempt to win back the title from Perez (also points). A rangy, clever, durable southpaw, Machado lacks the ambition that drove him to victory in his prime. He's lost three of those five fights, although he can be a handful, with plenty of deducted points adorning his fight by fight details, and went 12 rounds last time out in July 2007. He knows how to stick around.
Expect Dunne to come through on points.

In the words of Homer Simpson "DOH"

This was a bit misleading.

It was listed in Live Sport on TV as live, same night/morning as Woods and Cotto's fights.

What a load of bollocks, especially when it happened last night. Really sloppy.

I swear I'm cursed, I've lost a total of 50,000 on Lee, McGirt and Diaz.

Ass hat.

The Sports News panel at the bottom is so annoying

Almost as annoying as dubbing out the sound of Charles and Farhood.

Why can't TV companies see it will be cost effective, if they by the rights to the full broadcast, that they show the full broadcast instead of having the commentary over dubbed.
