Anyone know if there is a database that lists all of George Foreman's televised or filmed bouts from the time he was an amateur and up to his winning the heavyweight championship fight with Joe Frazier in 1973?
Where any of his other bouts televised from the 1968 Olympics
in Mexico City other then when his second round TKO of Russian boxer ,Ionas Chepulis to win the Gold Medal?
I know he fought and won against at least three other foreign amateur boxers to get to the gold medal bout.

I don't know of a database that lists all of his fights that were filmed. I can tell you that some of his early fights have been broadcast on ESPN Classic.

For some reason his first fight with Peralta has been on several times. His fights with Ted Gullick and Boone Kirkman have also been on.
The Chuvalo fight has been on TV, though I'm not sure if it was on ESPN Classic.

If you can get ESPN Classic, I would recommend it. They do rerun a lot of the same fights, and some of the "Classics" are just average fights that were originally broadcast on ESPN2 less than than 10 years ago. However, occasionally there are some interesting fights and once in a blue moon a gem.

Anyone know why they are constantly showing those crap ESPN cards now like Toney-McGroom and Augustus-Oliveria? Are those actually getting better ratings than if they showed fights like Foreman-Lyle and Muhammad-Johnson? They went through a 2 month period when they started unearthing some real gems like Folley-Jones but now they are recycling their crap Friday Night Fight telecasts again . . . :x
