Prizefighter Scoring - what if there had been a draw?

In the final Dolan get KD in the first, losing the round 10-8 on conventional scoring.
He rallied to win the 2nd 10-9.
If Dolan wins the third, (which looked the most likely at that stage) then you have a 28-28 draw.

What would they have done then?

Same with our own Billy Bessey in the first fight. He lost the first because of the KD but for me he won the next two and should have got a draw.

I read somewhere that there would have been a fourth round as this would have still stayed inside the 12 rounds over 3 fights.

Obviously you're now going to ask "what if the 4th round was 10-10?"

That is how K1 and K1 Max deal with draws in 3 round fights. They go to an extra round where I am sure judges are instructed they MUST find a winner.

not wrong, I guess. Especially seeing as if it was a normal 4 rounder he would have scored it anyway
