Hey guys I don't know much about these two fighters so I thought it would be much better to ask you guys who would win between these two fighters. Thank you.

Man, Rhodes still about?

I always hear about him getting cut to pieces in pub brawls and shit in Sheffield

Anyway, Rhodes used to be the shit, man. But it never quite happened for the kid.

I remember ONCE someone complete coward smashed a champagne bottle over his head in an unprovoked attack which kept Ryan out of the ring for ages.

He does have his technical faults and will have to believe in himself more than he did against Lockett but he's hitting harder than ever and I think he has it in him to win.

It takes courage to bottle anyone, especially from behind. I respect the guy who did it.

I like Ryan Rhodes - a nice guy and nothing like his 'spice boy' persona.

He is going to flatten Woolocombe!

I think it's hard to pick this fight, I don't see either really hurting the other. Maybe Woolcombe will edge it with workrate.

Rhodes does not strike me as the fighting in pubs type.

Don't know much about Woolcombe but Rhodes chin still has question marks so you couldn't really fancy him strongly at this level against anyone.

yes according to a article I read he speaks to him now and again on the phone. And told Coldwell he might go to the fight.

Rhodes should win this quite comfortably.

The article you read was presumably James Howard's interview with Ryan over at BBN.

Looking forward to tonight - word from the weigh in is that Rhodes looks very big at the weight.

Rhodes has unfortunately been "bottled" on two occasions whilst out socialising.

I think we have to lay the glass chin bit to rest,after all Lockett can punch and he failed to make an impression,in fact Rhodes had him in more trouble.

Matthews had something like 19 kos from 21 fights, and Ryan was stopped on his feet against Blundell (lots of personal issues going on at the time I beleive).But be fair to him he carried on when a lot more prospects packed in at the first defeat.
Rhodes wins this one inside the distance.

i've got a feeling woolcombe may pull this off.

it's been a long time since rhodes has been here.

i wouldn't be all that hasty to write Woolcombe's power off, think it was Rushton he blitzed only 6 months ago it seems...........the fact Danny Reynolds did the same job a fortnight ago in just a round doesn't take any away from Woolcombe IMO.

plus I'm sure he's rolled over a few before that, before he came good n proper unstuck versus Andrew Facey in a shock.

3 months ago I was leaning very heavily to Woolcombe........now though I'm kind of...like the bookies.....favouring Rhodes. I don't think Rhodes having boxed for a world title ?? (Otis Grant) would be buggering about in a boxing ring at 30 odd unless he a) was taking it very seriously and b) didn't think he could still win the Brit title.

Having remembered only 12 months ago he blitzed Buchannan in a round I think he will come out blazing and try to intimidate Woolcombe. Although Woolcombe can definitely fight a bit I'm positive he doesn't possess the same SKILL and possibly POWER as Rhodes who I expect to have the CLASSIER COMBOS early on. It might just be enough to stop Woolcombe who let's face it is FAR more used to dishing it out than he is to taking it............and as hinted at above I'm fairly confident that Ryan will be fit enough to box 12 rounds otherwise I really don't think he'd be in there.

It really comes down to this.......can Woolcombe get his own game going without being knocked out of his stride and getting desperate, he will NEED to be able to hold a couple of good shots at least and to maintain concentration. I'm not sure he's experienced enough to do either.

So as much as I enjoyed a ruck a few weeks ago with twentysix I am here and now performing a U-turn.

I think Rhodes will win on points and there is a distinct possibility he might get Woolcombe out of there inside 4 rounds.

I hope Rhodes can do it - he looked superb on his record breaking run to the Lonsdale belt all those years ago.

Always enjoyed his fights - that vulnerability keeps you on the edge of your seat.

I have gone in large on Rhodes tonight, if this goes títs up its bread and butter and relying on 'The Goods' tips to pay for the daughters shoes.

Stay out the pub for a week and you can afford her he whole wardrobe

I didn't manage to see the fight ut i picked round 9 on the preciction thingy so i'm well happy McDermott got rid of Pele in quick fashion as well.
