Where did they stick the extra 1500 fans for the De La Hoya fight? The Hatton fight was rammed, and the arena didn't look like it could hold many more.

Can't believe it mate

It was held at the Top Rank Gym and my fight fee which Ricky signed was $5 got it in a frame with the photo of mine and Dennis' head to head!!!

Seriously though back to the thread - I really am surprised Ricky's fight with PBF was not higher up there - especially with the prices of some of the tickets the high rollers were paying!!!

Presumably this is only revenue from ticket sales, not including merchanise and PPV, otherwise the figures are way too low.

that fight was the reason hopkins never risked the calzaghe fight back in 2002.

he was waiting around for oscar to come to the table. :TU:

Thats a tremendous gate though Spud, not sure why "only" number 9 as if its a bad thing.

Just think of the fights that have not made the list.... and if it was something like Hatton vs DLH - then it would have been even bigger.

Got the list when looking for the judges for the Calzaghe/hopkins fight - went to the Nevada State Athletic Commission website - it shows the top 35 grossing fights in Vegas.

Oscar is way above any other fighter - so popular!!!
