Not going well for Calzaghe at the moment.

Richie fails to mention Calzaghe not throwing anything while going forward Calzaghe needs to throw a jab while moving froward.

Calzaghe wins the 4th for me.

Its 3-1 Hopkins including a 10-8 round for me.

Joe looks slower at 175 with the added disadvantage of having even less power.

Hopkins is so hard to watch.

Calzaghe not doing much either his workrate isnt the same so Hopkins is making it his type of fight, ie not a hard fought pace.

Joe still might win this..... but thank god they didn't fight in 2001.

I think its more to do with Hopkins style in the fight. Hes not allowing Calzaghe to do his fancy stuff. Calzaghe is expecting a hopkins counter so not throwing that much.

rd 5 Joe at last using the speed, building abit of rhythm. Needs to make up ground though.

Calzaghe coming into the fight now, Hopkins looks a little tired to me, very flat footed and starting to wing em in a bit.

I've got Hopkins a couple of points up going into the sixth but Joe's taken the last two rounds on my card largely due to starting to find his rhythm and getting a better work-rate as a result.
Hopkins looking for the right hand counter constantly.
Cortez looking suspect again as he lets Hopkins get away with blatant use of the head.

Just the commentators picked it up.... he's let lots of deliberate rabbit punches thrown by Joe go also... Just Woodhall didn't want to say that about his mate.

It's Calzaghe book he says, 'You won't see me searching to see my name up in lights or going to big movie premieres, I'm too level-headed'.

Calzaghe balance is terrible in this fight. Hopkins knows he will win the close rounds on the cards

It wasn't a clash of head, John, it was a left hook from Hopkins.

This is going to be controvesial.... HARD fight to score.

Hopkins round 7 for me, cleaner punches.

Hopkins is a bit open mouthed.

He is throwing rabbit punches but what else can he do when Hopkins is holding on so much.

Hopkins looks tired to me, but Calzaghe is scrappy, so scrappy.

jesus joes chin is way up in the air when he comes in bernard is just waiting to walk him onto one ,

F**k me, if I can separate myself from the hype for one second it's one ugly, boring fight to be honest. It's going to be a narrow points victory for Hopkins if it carries on like this.
Anyone else willing to bet we'll see Calzaghe Vs Hopkins II at the Millennium later this year as Joe's farewell fight?
