There is the US sprinter called Tyson Gay.

I suppose his mum and dad were just trying to even things out a bit.

Tyson Fury is the ultimate boxers name I reckon. He is the touted son of 'Gypsy' John Fury I think

I clicked the link and just saw his name, posted and went back to check his record and I then noticed what happened to him.

is Fury going to Beijing?

Read an article on him a while back in the paper, BIG mofo about 6 and a half foot, 18 stone, think his dads either an ex-pro or a bare-knuckle sort who had a thing for Iron Mike, so names his son after him.

No he wasnt in the squad at the qualifiers. Price shored up a birth though.

I heard he gave Price a decent argument in an early senior bout - he is one for the future, no doubt although how long before he trades his vest in?

Will he wait til 2012? Unlikely I would have thought.

Correct. His dad is Gypsy John Fury. I remember Henry Akinwande starching him at G-MEX back in the early 90's.

Tyrone Brunson has a pretty tough sounding name. It's a pity he doesn't carry a power punch .......

Don't mention him in the current scene. Most of them hate the fact that he can concentrated on breaking the World record for the number of first round knockouts. I think it's great marketing though.

I've heard of Tyson Fury. I remember trying to find out more about him a few months ago.

I worked in a jobcentre, and one customer had called her son ROCKY TYSON.

I asked her why, and she said "Cause he's a bruiser".

What he had bruised i didn't want to know

Was that the Hodkinson-Villasana bill? I remember Fury leaning over the ropes after he'd been stopped and shouting "I'm a gypsy man!" over and over again. Funny as ....
