Sounds like a horror movie.
Well it looks like this is happening, who do you think will win and how?

I think you are right - unfortunatelytoppity wrote:Nelson, I just can't imagine that man unfit. Jeff is putting himself through hell to get back down. I think Nelson by KO.
I believe Fenech wanted 8 and Nelson asked for 12Beltane wrote:How many rounds are being touted for this circus's main event?
Any more than eight rounds and they should be arrested for false advertising.
i don't think it will last that long. If it does, they will have to call in the wheel chairs to keep it interesting.pawpaw wrote:they agreed on 10 i heard.
Ditto, Nelson by KORoss wrote:I think you are right - unfortunatelytoppity wrote:Nelson, I just can't imagine that man unfit. Jeff is putting himself through hell to get back down. I think Nelson by KO.

Soliman -v- Ndou. When did that happen? Do you mean Soliman -v- Bika?Marlin wrote:I don't think there will be a KO here, its more an exhibition fight. I think it will be like the Soliman v Ndou fight five years ago... they will just take turns to attack then defend.
I totally agree, I leaned towards Fenech as he is 42 and nelson 49. Fenech stays in decent shape also as he trained a lot of fighters until recently.Syntax Error wrote:Can we have a fence sitters 'don't know' option? :P
This fight should be sponsered by SAGA or Seven Sevens Glucosamine Tablets!
No-one can say with any real conviction about the outcome of this fight.
It's been so long since they both fought that there is just no current barometer to gauge their form.
Soliman's opponent pulled out last minute so the promoter pulled Lovemore out of the crowd and asked if he would be up for the exhibition style fight...Beltane wrote:I remember it as an exhibition spar and both were wearing head protectors. It was only a filler between bouts on a Fox night about 3 years ago. The action got a bit willing in the last round when Sam's weight advantage came into it's own.

www.news.com.au wrote:BOXING legend Jeff Fenech says his mammoth sexual appetite contributed as much to his first loss against Azumah Nelson as the great African's lethal left hook.
Fenech says he was sleeping with up to five women a day in the weeks leading up to his crushing KO loss before a crowd of 37,000 people at Princes Park in Melbourne in 1992.
Now happily married, Fenech - who turns 44 next week - will have a rematch with Nelson in a comeback fight at Vodafone Arena in Melbourne on June 24 and says wife, Suzee, has kept him level-headed.
He will also star in a four-part Foxtel series, which began filming last week, documenting his life.
"I wasn't married back then and I had a massive ego, Fenech said.
"I thought I was invincible and that I could do anything I liked.
"I slept with four or five girls every day. I done everything wrong. I just thought I was going to win.
"In the end I paid a heavy price."
Asked whether he was far too cocky in the lead-up to the fight, Fenech replied: "Yeah, 100 per cent. I thought I was Anthony Mundine for a couple of months.
"My downfall in life has been me, for not being able to adapt when I should have, not being able to stay grounded when I should have."
