Amazing that you picked that.
That is exactly what I was going to post when I saw you beat me to it.

I feel complimented, as I respect your knowledge of boxing.

Yancey,
It is my guess that on that night Corbett probably could have outpointed any heavyweight who ever lived.
He was never in that condition again.

James Jefferies vs Jack Johnson July 4, 1910 Reno, NV.
The tension in the air, electric atmosphere and a highly anticipated event.

Any involving the legendary Bert Gilroy, of course.
Possibly the greatest Scottish middleweight ever.

The Jennete-McVey 49-rounder
or Jimmy Dundee vs. Mercy Montes, 51 rounds
I's want to get my money's worth and not waste it on a short fight like Sullivan-Corbett which went a mere 23 rounds!
But I'd avoid the 61-round stinker between Corbett and Jackson.
If I was limited to just one round -- I'd go back to Dempsey-Flynn just so I'd know myself just what the hell happened.
Bareknucle I'd like to see Cribb-Molyneaux I
(PS I've been ringside to see such fighters as Ali, Frazier, Foreman, Norton, Lennox Lewis, Evander holyfield, ernie Shavers, Duane bobick (!)Vito Antuofermo (!), Roberto Duran, Alexis Arguello, de la hoya, Sean O'Grady (!), Esteban De Jesus, Saul Mamby, Trinidad, hopkins, Bobby Cassidy, Bennie Briscoe, Wilfred Benitez, Marvis Frazier (!), but I passed up seeing Monzon . . . and i got lost on the way to Sunnyside Garden and missed Angel Robinson Garcia.

Joe Gans,
Jeannette, McVey & Peter Jackson to see how good they really were...
the amazing Bobby Dobbs, fought for 5 decades and about 900 fights.
but most of all I'd like to see Tony Canzoneri, got film of him fighting Frankie Klick, Jackie Kid Berg, Jimmy Mclarnin, but would like to see his fight with the great little Canadian Vic Folley who was a long standing Top Contender and great little fighter himself, I knew one of his nephews.
and the ultimate McAvoy vs. Gilroy from 1939-45 it was scheduled once and nearly came off again in 1945 and was fought and debated for dozens of times inbetween.

Louis Vs Schmeling, 1938, no doubt at all.

Hagler-Hearns or the Louis-Schmeling rematch.
Louis-Schemling two happened at such a significent time in history. There must have enomous amounts of pressure on both Louis & Schmeling's shoulders.
Hagler-Hearns, well, need I explain why I have chosen this one? Nearly nine mintues of mahem, both throwing hell for leather. Imagine being ringside during the fight, for that first round?
I reckon if you were ringside Hagler-Heanrs, that first round would have stuck in your mind & played over & over for at least a couple of weeks afterwards!

You only get ONE ticket to the past not a multiple destination pass.

I agree with ActJac. The guy even highlighted, "One" in upper-case letters, & people happily post a dozen or so fights. Same thing happened when I asked for the single greatest fighter of your lifetime. The first few picked out one, but by the end of the thread, people were naming dozens of fighters. It's not in the spirit.
Like anyone, I could name many bouts. I will stick to one --- Foreman-Frazier I, 22nd January, 1973, Jamaica. Hell of a party on the island afterward, too 8)
