Jensen vs Monrose

This looks to be a cracking fight between two solid Cruiserweight contenders. The winner will crack the top 10 and may be in line for a WBA or WBO titleshot, and earns the EBU 200 lbs title.

Jensen has beaten the better opposition but both guys have solid amatuer pedigrees and similar pro experiences and records (Jensen is undefeated at 23-0-2 and Monrose 23-1-0).

The fight will be in Monrose's home town.

Any thoughts? :box:

He isn't a top ten fight.

1) He hasn't won this fight.

2) He won't be a top ten fighter after this fight... not independently.

Johny Jensen could do it again. He has a good chance of beating Monrose, but I would not let him near Maccarinelli.

In fairness to Jensen, he improved quite a bit from the Del Valle fight to when he fought Cantatore. I would consider him a real threat to Enzo now: the man can crack, and Enzo appears to have chin issues.

Also, many will rate him top 10 if he wins...just look at the forum ratings, he is #11 right now.

Any last predictions before the fight tomorrow?

Difficult fight to predict.

Jensen is the taller fighter with the best wins and is undefeated.

Monrose has home advantage.

I concur!

Jensen is more versatile, but Monrose is slicker, imo.

I just saw the fight. Jensen got hit early in round one by a hard punch that Monrose didn't look like he knew where was going. And Jensen never recovered.

Monrose probably just breaks the lower end of the top 10 now.
