Really good to see he is making those noises, he sounds up for it and the Kolotnik fight could deffinatly happen as a win has advantages for both fighters, Kolotnek avenges his loss Witter can gain his title and would make himself the man at light welterweight.

Do you get the feeling he may be overlooking the threat of Bradley?
seems to be looking at future fights a bit to much.

I know what you're saying Ian, but I think he's too professional to take his eye off the ball, especially as he knows it will probably put a fight with Hatton to bed

He should focus on Bradley first. He is no Push over... a talented boxer indeed

If Witter can unify then he has a much better argument for Hatton to fight him.

Witter could have every belt in the 140, 147 and 154 at the same time and Hatton still wouldnt fight him.

Torres is fighting Holt in a rematch so thats not feasible at the moment. Malignaggi is gonna fight Hatton after he beats Ndou again. That leaves Kotelnik - who probably won't leave Germany for Witter rematch now thats he's finally got his hands on a belt. So Witter's only option for unification is to go to Germany.Hmmm...I think he should go and risk it though only if he feels he can go up a few gears from the last match with Kotelnik otherwise Kotelnik will get the nod no doubt.

I dont think Witter should go after a Kotelnik fight.
The winner of Holt v Torres in October-November time is realistic I think tho. That fight is in 8 weeks time I think so I dont think that fight before Christmas is out of the question.
I doubt Junior would get another fight in before then anyway.

He doesn’t need a better argument to fight Hatton.
He is WBC the champion and Ricky is living off a paper title he won 3 years ago.
Remember when the argument was that Showtime wouldn’t televise Witter?
He needs to concentrate on Bradley and not take him lightly.
A loss to anybody is what Ricky’s praying for.

good point, after all that time Witter is back on Showtime., so he needs to impress.
Re Ricky's paper title, a literal paper title of the Ring mag variety

Ricky has the claim to being the best Light Welter in the World because he's got the Ring belt. If Witter can unify then Hatton's case for being the best only holds steed if he fights Witter.
That's my opinion anyway, so take it or leave it.

He won the Ring mag belt 3 years ago, yes, but he's also the IBO champion since last year, IMO, the IBO comes the closest to the 4 major sanctioning bodies, let's hope Rick wins his match in 2 weeks against former champ Lazcano for the IBO & Ring title.

On this performance, Witter is done.

His performance has been poor. Not just in terms of the knockdown and the fact he's losing, but in that he hasn't attempted to fight and entertain a LIVE TERRESTRIAL TV AUDIENCE.
