Froch would have to do something really stupid to lose this one. Rybacki looks waaaaay out of his depth. Horrible, horrible fight. Carl's just got to get him out of there and move on.

I should hope so, it's a mismatch.

I don't think so. Froch will step up when it's time, IMO. He always leaves himself open when faced with no threat.

I would favour Bute and Kessler heavily..... and I think Calzaghe vs Froch would be a repeat of Calzaghe vs Lacy (Froch is that slow handed).

Only thing in Froch's favour over the 3 top Super Middles (counting Joe) is punch power... think he hits harder than the three of them.

Good stoppage by the ref John Keane, the polish guy Rybacki showed he had a good chin and was proud. but outclassed

Yeah, Froch is terribly slow, and i've never seen him fight with his hands up. I can't see him changing his style much this late in his career.

Still, I think a Kessler fight would be an absolute barnstormer.

Think he has slow hands personally.

Carl is slow. He's like a smaller version of Ivan Drago, or the white George Foreman.

I also think Froch is slow, but he does hit very hard.

But seriously, that Polish guy was taking some real belting shots.

Was reading that he could be taking the winner of Zuniga vs Pascal next. That would be good, Kessler would be a step too high at the moment.

He aint getting much better though.

See how shell shocked Kessler is after Calzaghe (I believe he is lined up to fight soon) now might be the best time. Personally, I didn't like the way Kessler was speaking post Calzaghe, it was as if losing the 0 meant he had lost some of his desire.... he didn't seem to enthusiastic when asked if he will come back.

The apparent lack of speed is always exaggerated with Froch when he is totally in control of a fight. Not saying he can match Calzaghe for speed, but it would be short sighted to expect him to carry tonights performance into a fight with Kessler. Very short sighted.

Yep, definitely. Froch pretty much said so himself, that he went for the KO much faster than he would have. He knew he could trade with this guy.

Froch is a lot better than he sometimes he appears. He can look awkward and ungainly and yes, at times he looks slow, but Carl isn't looking to land lightning deliveries, he is looking to bust his opponents up.

Was Hopkins fast? Was he hell, but he came within a whisker of beating Calzaghe.

Calzaghe is looking to be slowing a little, and I think Froch is getting better with every fight, if they were to fight tommorow, I think Joe would have his hands full.

Carl was an oustanding amateur, and has plenty of boxing ability. He is also very fit, and absolutely massive at the weight, how he makes 168 is beyond me, and he punches like a mule.

When Carl uses that jab, you realise how good a boxer he is. He isn't the most elusive guy, but he's not easy to nail with follow up shots, and he carries a shot very well when he is tagged with a big one.

Carl is I think going to dominate the division if he can get by Kessler, which I think he can, because he's a more natural and less robotic fighter than Kessler.

Can't wait to see that fight, and from being a critic, I find myself becoming a Froch fan.
