What makes you think the TV moguls care about the people who follow boxing? They see no profit in it because it would be early in the day and the Australian on the card is not defending a title.
It is all about money.

Ive emailed Mainevent AGAIN begging them to have this fight card on....I am yet to get a response. I see Golden Boy have now got involved so it may be possible.

UK/Europe shows are rarely shown in OZ due to time difference.
Main Event, Sky etc need pubs & clubs to make it viable. Extremely few are open @ 6am
Maybe we might be lucky with Sopcast

Main Event probably think it is too close to the Mundine Soliman fight.
Years ago if a fight was not on TV you could listen to it on the radio. Bastards won't even let us have that now.

LMAO at anyone expecting this fight to be on in Australia.
Firstly, whoever Setanta - it is a Sky fight, Setanta are direct opposition in the UK. Setanta will show Setanta fights on the Setanta channel in Australia, not their competitors.
Sky or Fox cant - the fight is on at 7am Eastern Time, how the heck are they going to get any sort of return with absolutely no Australian draw. 90% of pubs arent open, and if they were wouldnt get anyone. Home PPV would be woeful at that time with no local draw.
The UFC isnt on at the same time, but if it was would outsell this one anyway. UFC buy rates are very good, and this is one the best UFC's in a long, long time. The last time the UFC clashed with a boxing fight, the boxing fight won out.
It all comes down to simple business, really.
Something like this Foxsports should really do, but they dont seem to offer much boxing, if any these days. They should use fights like this to build interest in fighters like Hatton to build for future PPV's, but they dont really like thinking outside the square.
